Solcana is a Minneapolis-based, queer-friendly, social-justice minded, feminist gym designed for folks of all fitness levels and backgrounds. We offer classes that will help you tap into your inner athlete and find the best version of you. Our mission: to offer high-quality, rigorous fitness to people in an accepting and supportive environment. Solcana is a place where everyone with an open heart can learn, thrive and grow in an inclusive community.

Strength and conditioning classes for up to 12 people at a time. Personal coaching and feedback to help you be your best self.

Daily schedule of live virtual classes with our coaches. High energy, fast-paced, with lots of modifications provided.

1-on-1 coaching for all bodies with coaches who specialize in your unique needs. Nutrition and workouts designed for your goals.

MEET OUR ATHLETE OF THE MONTH: BRITT JOHNSON

Britt joined the gym in January 2019 and can mostly be found bright and early at the 6AM Indoor classes!

“Britt is as kind as they are strong. Which is to say, incredibly kind. They are so much fun to have in my classes even though it makes their spouse, Lisa, roll her eyes when we get our bro jokes going. They are always super supportive of other athletes and incredibly welcoming to new folks. They are an elementary school teacher and are probably the coolest teacher those kids will ever have. In addition to being so super duper strong, they are always willing to work on moving better while moving big weights.”
